This is my full size 12 pound Mountain Howitzer.  Just think it can shoot a 12 pound round ball at 1100 feet per second with an effective range of 1000 yards.    My neighbors are scared.    🙂   Not done yet,  Still have some black smithing to do and paint.  I have the original recipe for the original paint.  more to come.

This is a full size 12 pound Mountain howitzer barrel.  It is a replica I made out of steel, much stronger than original.  Yes it will fire when I am finished.  I am currently working on the carrage.  When it is done it will be a quality working piece.  You can keep up on this project also.

What can I say, if it goes bang we have to fix it or build it and try it out!
