It all starts with a dream

It all starts with a dream. .  .  . Wait . . . .  No? . . .  Maybe a  set of plans?  Usually more ideas in the head than are on paper.  It doesn’t stop there. The dream gets bigger and cooler as the creativity kicks in. Then the reality kicks in to make things more managable. Often time it is something that remains more dream and less reality.  I read in a book the best way to make a dream more reality is to just start putting things together So here we go!!    HANG ON!!  I got these plans below from George.  Check back, feel free to comment, keep up with the project progress. I plan to go from Kansas City on the wide Missouri to Louisiana, on the Mississippi to check out that shrimp gumbo with my brother (Kevin) and a friend (Craig) when this is finished!

  1. I’ll go along if you let me drive.

  2. Keith,
Great idea to chronicle the building process. I always planned to but then never did. And all the photos I took along the way are just sitting in files on my computer. Anyway, I have hopes of taking Darwin down the river someday as well. When your launch day approaches maybe I’ll meet you with “Darwin” at the confluence of the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers for the trip down to NOLA. Let me know if you have any ?’s along the way.

    Chris

  3. Will it have wifi?
