This is the river boat I am going to build. This particular craft (the Darwin) belongs to Chris. You can charter this craft on the Kalamzoo River in Michigan. I hear the shrimp gumbo in New Orleans is the best! so I figured I would build this boat and go down there to check it out. My craft will be 28 feet long and 9 feet wide when she is finished. I will be working on her for quite a while with several pauses as cash flow dictates. so Keep checking back to see how she is coming. Comments are welcome.

Folks always ask me if I have had any experience building boats or navigating the big river waterways. Well the short answer would be No. All my life though I have always looked at things I want to do and in my mind calculated the best way to make a go of it, then I gave it a shot. This plan is just like any other I have ever had. The important thing is to not stop trying, searching, or stop living. Keep focus on the goal. Sometimes I have lost but I have won enough to make life interesting and to encourage me to keep going.
